Sarah Rosado is a self taught artist from New York Cite. This new project is named Celebrity Cereal Art and was created using corn flakes shaped into celebrity images.
The process involved a tremendous amount of time and effort. One day while eating cereal and listening to oldies and R&B music, the idea to create celebrity faces with cornflakes was born; "because music has never tasted so good", Sarah thought.
The process is pretty tedious. It takes about five hours to create one piece. A sketch of the artist is first drawn, the cereal is crushed in different sizes and carefully placed along the sketch. A pin is then used to carefully shape the nose, eyes and mouth.
Sarah loves creating and experimenting with new ideas and challenging herself. "It's a drive that pushes me to a different level each time which is very rewarding".
