There is nothing that makes a woman more enraged like the Hulk than ringing the doorbell at the wrong time. Any mom will tell you that a baby’s nap time is very difficult to achieve. Very much like walking on eggshells, the ritual takes nerves of steel and the patience of a saint.
As the little one’s eyes finally close, the absolute worse thing to have happen is the sound of the doorbell destroying the sanctuary created. Some moms have resorted to leaving notes that read like threats to warn any unsuspecting person tempted to push that little button beside the door.
Some notes are lighthearted and funny, while others get straight to the point. No one can really explain the mindset of moms who leave notes, but the results are all the same: sheer hilarity. One can only hope that we never fall victim to touching that button and live to tell.
